At the end of last month my mom's dance group performed at Disneyland. We decided it would be the perfect opportunity to take Leyla to Disneyland for her first time. The flight there turned out really good, Leyla slept for 30 minutes of the hour and a half flight. Once we got there we checked in to our hotel and ran to Target to get some snacks for the park. Once we got in to Target Leyla had a major blow out. I had to take everything off of her and walk around the store with her naked until I could buy her something to wear. Luckily the rest of the trip went better than that day :) Here are a few pictures. The first day we spent at Disneyland riding rides. Leyla loved watching the parade with Mickey in it. She LOVES Mickey!
It's a Small World. Leyla loved all of the music.
The Second day we spent the whole day at Disneyland riding rides and playing with family at the park.
We were waiting in line for the Finding Nemo ride and Leyla kept trying to take Greg's hat off and put it on herself. Greg kept taking it away and saying "mine". Let's just say that probably wasn't the right word to say. "Mine" is her new favorite word!
Leyla was terrified of Goofy. After he left from taking the picture she kept staring at him. Haha
Greg getting some relaxing in.
I cannot believe that people wait in dozens of lines just to get pictures and autographs with the characters. We waited in line for at least 20 minutes to get a picture with Minnie.
Inside Minnie's house was so cute. Leyla loved playing inside with her cousin Savannah.
Our third day we drove out to Huntington Beach. We chose the WORST day to go to the beach. It was so windy and cold. We all sat bundled up in our towels because nobody planned for it to be cold when we got there. Leyla loved the beach. I had a couple freak out moments when she kept eating the sand. I can't believe she thought it tasted good! Even though it was cold we had a lot of fun and were even able to see a bunch of dolphins swimming near the shore.
Love him :)
Later that night after we got all cleaned up we went with my sister and her family to an Angles vs Rangers game. The boys were in heaven.
I don't have any pictures on my camera of our last day at Disneyland. The girls danced and performed well. We had a wonderful trip (minus the flight home) and are excited to plan another one sometime soon!
This was for your Anne :):)
